I Think Men Die More Than They Live.

I think men die more than they live!

The notion that money made the world go round, began to take root in men from the inception of the dollar and cents.

As the world of economics began to evaluate successes by the number of dollars you have in your bank account, men made a beeline for the greenback or any of the currencies one is aligned to.

So then, as the disparity between the middle class, the poor, and the rich began to widen, men started striving even more to make ends meet, reach their millionaire status, or as in the case of the middle-class society, they had to strike a balance between staying middle-class, or stumbling back into the poor category, or working hard to achieve their first million.

It became a rat race for humanity as a whole.

As a result, the family institution slowly began to take a backseat.

Working to rise became a fixture in their minds, so much so that they forgot that they had to live. They forgot that they had only one life and that eventually what was important was their happiness.

I have never seen a billionaire who is happy inside. They are always chasing some new way to advance, be it in their careers, or lifestyle, and money remains their main criterion. They believe in competing in every aspect of their life even when they have attained all they can and want. Plus, learn the fears of insecurities. As they become stewards in their profession, they are susceptible to making enemies.

They forsake their health for singularity. To be the best there was, is, or ever will be.

I believe they themselves let die their inner peace for a life of chaos and concerns. The root of chaos begins at the start of dissatisfaction. Concerns begin when you realize that you have brought it upon yourself to meddle with chaos.

It then results in a never-ending chase for freedom. The freedom of mind, heart, and even soul.

This is why the wise say, a balance is required in everything you do. Like the balancing scale, each relevance in your life has to measure equally.

No one lives a perfect or perfected life, but they can strive for peace of heart, mind, and happiness while chasing the wealth they need to sustain their lives.

Not that money is not important to me, it is. But, I want to live before it consumes my whole - shobana
