I wanted to show them

that there is so much to celebrating a season of goodwill...

that the way the world is unfolding with wars and diseases escalating, we are running short of time.

Whenever we think of the issues that are currently besieging this world, we feel the shortness of life. I am not sure if you feel it, but it does occur to me frequently. Each time there is a new war waging for want of land or superiority, to show might against one another, I feel the scarcity of time left for celebrations.

I sense that religious disorders are slowly taking precedence over the autonomy of peace entitled to a nation or creed.

With a sense of foreboding and limited time, I celebrated Christmas with thankfulness. For a family, food over my table, the fragile peace that hovers every land, and the beauty that is before me, and not forgetting the few friends who have stood by us through thick and thin. Not many have the courage to lift someone out of their adversity, unfortunately.

Over the past few months, I have seen the dreads of evil, of disasters, and climate decadence to cover nearly every part of the world, and I think with sadness of how careless we have been in caring for nature, for taking things for granted, and for the lives lost to illnesses and wars. What about the children? Indeed, they face a fearful future. Isn't that a sad notion to live with? What have we done to their livelihood?

These are indeed sad times, however, in order to cherish whatever good that we are bestowed with, we celebrate the season of goodwill with thanksgiving in our hearts.

I have been through many obstacles and threats over the course of my life. In ways you can never imagine. All because of racial and religious persecution, a disparity that has been part of my life for decades. But through it all I have prevailed. Survived the insult to injuries and I live now to show them that through the goodness of heart, you can stay alive, with God walking before you, as in my case, and a worldwide army he built to save mine and my families' lives. I wanted to show that I have lived through another birthday, though bruised and hurt. I have lived through the celebrations of Christmas and now look forward to another year. No matter what awaits me, though time is limited, I remain steadfast in my belief that those who cause hurt will be hurt ten folds in return and killed by their own swords of evil and tongues of deceit.

What you do unto to others, others will do unto you. Especially if you have never hurt anyone intentionally.

Here's wishing you a great year with lots of love and happiness.

Happy New Year everyone.

What did that Gift Box Contain?

The year 2024 is considered a "Universal 8 Year" in numerology, symbolizing a period of growth, challenges, and rewards. It is associated with themes of prosperity, success, leadership, and personal power. While it may bring obstacles, it also offers opportunities for financial wealth, career advancement, and the manifestation of one's desires. Overall, 2024 is seen as a powerful and transformative year, encouraging individuals to embrace new beginnings, balance, and the pursuit of their deepest aspirations. (Taken from Google).

Let's begin a celebration of love this year.
What did that gift box contain when you opened it?
I whispered with a peaceful heart.
"It was filled with love - Christmas Love"
Given with hands of love to last forever.

Thank you for being part of my writing journey,
encouraging me with thoughtful words and actions,
and most of all, for making me feel special with your love for me - shobana
