Tell me in two words what you thought of your day. Was it bright, light, or burdensome? Okay, three words here, and you get to pick only two.
Would you look at a positive answer and choose the bright & light? Or would you think of something that had gone wrong during the day and pick one of the two positives with burdensome?
Something to think about, right?
If one of your words was coined with burdensome, was it a problem that you had solved by the time you had to pick the two words?
I remember the teacher in secondary school who taught us literature. She was just too beautiful for words. Petite, with beautiful shiny skin, dressed elegantly, and was Eurasian.
Every time she said something, the class would go silent. She had a sing-song voice and I don't think any of us failed in literature. We studied to impress her!
She would walk into class with a smile, and leave with a smile. I think she was the best inspiration we got in school.
So back to the two words. I chose bright and light. I'd like to say it like I saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
No matter what breaks my day, I choose to be the bright light. I choose to relinquish the burdensome part due to its heaviness.
So, no matter what comes your way, smile your way through, just like my literature teacher, who inspired me all those years ago to do.
