That haven of silence is broken

 

How long is a lifetime? A lifetime can be a day sometimes, given the circumstances you find yourself in. The never-ending agony of tragedies can start at infancy and be remembered for a lifetime - a lifetime experience it becomes.

People think of a lifetime as the number of years they have lived. I believe that lifetime refers to the experiences one has undergone and is remembered until death do them part. 

Death is a lifetime experience. Something as tragic as death is hard to speak about, and one tends to find a haven of silence to keep the emotions intact - unspoken though seen. They are in your eyes, your heart, your mind, and consume your whole being. At times like this, solitude becomes your best mate. When in solitude, you think better and REMEMBER. Those quiet moments are precious to recount and relive experiences. Lifetime experiences are never meant to be forgotten.

I wrote a poem titled, Haven of Silence, this morning, which spoke about cries from the heart. Cries from the heart are unspoken words that hide sadness and misery.
