Hello to December, the favourite month for most people on the planet, for several reasons. It is the season for giving and receiving, sharing and caring, though these values are attributed to all other festive celebrations.
With Christmas falling on the 25th of December, the trees are up and sparkling with lights, and the malls are decked with bells of holly, tra-la-la-la-la-la. I am dreaming of a white Christmas and will soon travel to a snowy city. Carols are sung, and generally, people are in a good mood. 'Tis the season to be jolly! Schools close for the holiday, the first fall of snow, laughter rings in the tidings of joy, love and harmony. Wishes of peace are on every heart, with a silent prayer for an end to strife and wars on fatigued lips. I wish for you, my friend who suffers the ills of war and conflicts, that peace may reign wherever you are. No more calamities, please. The world has seen so much sadness in the past year. It really starts with you. Seek to know peace and how it can heal this world of ours.
